Clip-in Bettie Bangs

I really missed my Betty bangs lately so I decided to buy a clip-in one. There are so many different styles and types on the internet but I prefer to be able to touch it and make sure that the texture is good so I went to a local store (which is actually an online store but you can phone them and ask if it’s possible to come around).
Make sure that the bangs is made with human hair because it will look a lot more natural than synthetic hair (which looks like Barbie hair). Besides you’ll probably don’t find the right color to match your own hair and you’ll have to dye it. Another important thing is to get a clip-in bangs that comes with several clips. There are some with only one clip (!). It will definitely look stupid when your bangs gets blown away.

I really wanted to make sure that the color of the bangs matches my own color as much as possible. I bought the “Hellblond #22” (light blonde) bangs and dyed it red. I used the same color I use for my own hair. It’s 8.4 light blonde copper red by Glynt. After that it only needed to be cut. (Best thing is to leave that to a professional. That’s it! :)

I love to change my hair a lot so I think a clip-in bangs (or clip-in hair in general) is a very good option. I will definitely buy more clip-in bangs or other clip-in products.

Do you also use clip-in hair?

 Much love,

Vanessa

  1. Clip in bangs are such a good idea! I'm one of those people that cut their fringe and then regret it a few days later because I want it in a victory roll or something..
I definitely need to purchase some clip in bangs!

  3. I love the idea of clip in bangs, and you look lovely! I've been in a cycle of trying to grow out, then getting the bang itch and cutting again, usually regretting it after a week! Maybe this time I'll actually let them grow out and try some clip ons!

  4. These are really pretty! I used to have Bettie bangs cut into my real hair, but I have also used clip in bangs and clip in extensions. It's fun to mix it up a bit :)
